Passed through 3 rain clouds on my first tank of gas heading out of Miami.

I was not prepped for rain, but thanks to the 100 degree heat and wind on the bike I am basically dry.

Some great Route 66 scenery. I could not help repeating over and over “Oh wow, ok… THIS is what inspired ‘Radiator Springs’ from Pixar’s ‘Cars’”.

We hit some heavy rain and lightning during the evening - Erik hydroplaned a bit and learned to slow down.
