Photos from Montreal, Quebec, Canada to Madawaska, Maine, United States
Heavy rain, but great country to ride through.
Glad to be out of the French speaking Quebec. We made some fuel-up stops and could not talk to anyone. I pulled out my iPhone with our travel map and shows it to one older guy looking at us as we fueled up in the rain.
When we got our rain gear on there was a cute little girl (age around 6) interested in what we were doing, but again, we could not talk to her.
Photos from Day 8
There are a lot of photos from the Four Corners Park in Madawaska, Maine. Even though this was the first check-in corner for us, it was kinda the biggest corner. We got the most group photos here, and spent the most time at the park.
The park’s founder Joe LaChance met us at the park and we got to talk for a bit.
Following leaving the park we crossed the border back into Canada and road the Canadian Highway #2 down to the Southern end of Maine and crossed back into the US.
I wish I had photos from this part of the ride, it truly was spectacular.

Note: New Brunswick, Canada and Maine is a beautiful part of North America.
Had to put shoes and gloves and clothes into the dryer so I didn’t start the day off wet. I assume I will still get wet along the way. So far we are 5 for 7 on days will rain. Yesterday was the worst. Temps in low 50’s as we passed through the Canadian mountains. Loving it!
